Water-wise landscaping · Abilene, TX

Build a yard that makes good use of water.

A water-wise yard does not have to be all rock. Keep grass where it helps. Plan beds, plants, and water for the way you use the yard. Then make sure the care plan is clear.

We do not promise set water savings · Your plan will depend on your property.

Plan the whole yard

A Smarter Way to Plan Your Yard.

We do not use one plant list for all yards. We do not promise a set water bill. We plan for how you use the yard, what you plant, how you water, and how much care you want.

01

Keep grass where it helps

Use grass in the parts of the yard where it adds value. Ask if plants, rock, mulch, or another choice may fit other spots.

02

Fit beds to the yard

Sun, water flow, gates, and your goals can change which plants and materials fit.

03

Water each area the right way

Grass and plant beds may not need the same water. Tell us what the system covers now and what needs to change.

04

Plan for new plants and care

New grass and plants need time and care. Ask what they need now and how to care for them as they grow.

Look at the yard first

Start with what you have and what you want to change.

You may need a irrigation repair, a new system, a grass or bed change, or a full yard plan. The right service depends on your goal.

  • 01Show us which spots must stay open, green, shaded, or easy to care for
  • 02Tell us about sun, water flow, grass, beds, and sprinkler issues
  • 03Tell us if you need a quick repair, a new system, or a new yard plan
  • 04Ask how to help new grass and plants grow and how to care for them

Water-wise questions

Designed for Your Property.

Water needs and local rules can change. We will review your property and current needs. We do not copy one plan for all yards.

01Does water-wise landscaping mean I must remove all grass?

No. You can keep grass where it helps you use the yard. Plants, rock, mulch, or other materials may fit other spots. The best mix depends on your space.

02Can my current yard use water in a better way?

It may. You may need a irrigation repair, new system, new bed, grass change, or a larger yard plan. We will review the property and help you pick the right path.

03Do you promise a set amount of water savings?

No. The system, settings, weather, grass, plants, care, and how you water can all change water use. We do not promise a set drop in use or cost.

04Should I start with sprinkler work or a new yard plan?

Choose repair for a leak, bad zone, timer issue, weak pressure, or poor spray. Choose installation for a new system or large change. Choose landscaping when the lawn, beds, and yard plan will change too.

05What should I send with a water-wise project request?

Send the address. Show us the areas you want to change. Tell us what you like, what is wrong now, how you use the yard, any water issues, and when you want to start.

Tell us about your yard

How do you want the yard to work?

Tell us how you use the space, what you want to keep or change, any sprinkler issues, the ZIP, and when you want to start.
